"gardening"

This title is a bit pretentious, I know. And what you see on the picture may not be a real garden, that's true. But anyway...This is what we have been doing on Sunday.
A few weeks ago we bought a "kit" to grow some basil, and this is what it looks like now. Not so bad for a winter basil. After watching all those cooking programs on TV (they are on all the time) we thought that it would be nice to have more of our own herbs. Living in a flat, we can only afford pots, and winter is probably not the best season for sowing stuff, but who cares, right? :-l
Off we go to the 100 yen (1 euro)-shop to buy some pots and soil and tools. Unfortunately there was only one type of seeds remaining in the shop that day. "OK, well, I guess we will settle with thyme in this case..".
Same price if you pick a second pack. "Let's see....Flower mix, pansy, lavander, carrot, cabbage, radish, beetroot....Errr, well, what about camomile? We could make infusions out of it or something like that. OK, camomile it is."
Checking every day and nothing is coming yet. OK, OK, it has only been 4 days... Maybe the infusions will be for next winter. Or is it a 1 year plant? Baaah...
