A fashion show

This is an event that happened last December, and I have to precise that those are not my own photos, I found them in a newspaper online (I might get sued for this).
It was a fashion show, but not just any kind of fashion show. A proper "défilé" held at the Tsukiji Honganji temple in Tokyo, aiming at promoting Buddhism.

The "Tokyo Bouz (monk) Collection" was presented on the catwalk by monks and nuns themselves with a background of rap music (!).
On the first photo a monk is throwing confetti resembling lotus petals for the finale of the show.

I hope I am not offending anyone with this post, it is not my intention to mock the event. I just find this aspect of Buddhism strikingly different from other organised religions (as far as I know), but my intention wasn't to enter a religious debate.
I am wondering though, did they win back believers after this show?

The pasta factory

Its name sounds Italian but it is not quite Italian. It is in fact Chinese, and called Mazzanty (LOL at the Y!) Pasta Maker (pronounce "mekaaaaaa").
Here's to you, our new pasta machine.
Yes, we did have second thoughts about buying a Chinese pasta machine but I think it is doing its job.

Of course, fine tuning works by trial and errors and we did relatively well for a first experience.
We just did not immediately realize that piling up freshly cut pasta on a plate would result in a useless ball of dough!
Mr. H then got the "genius" idea of putting them to dry on our clothe hangers.

The result was not bad, although the pasta was a little bit too soft and smooth for our taste. But have no fear, we'll be back with a dynamite improved recipe.
And new hangers, maybe...

How does that look?

A fresh start

Yes, I got tired of the dark blue template. I need to work a little bit more on this one but it's a start.

Et pour commencer, une petite bulle des Indégivrables (j'ai aussi mis le lien à gauche).
