Harajuku in the morning

On Saturday I wanted to test our new sooper-dooper camera, and Harajuku is always an interesting place for taking pictures. In the heart of Tokyo, it is a meeting point for all the Gothic Lolitas, Ganguros and Cosplayers (people dressed as characters from manga, video games, bands etc...) out there. One of the most colorful spots in Tokyo.
I arrived at Harajuku around 11.00 a.m., a time when most of the weird birds are probably still sleeping. At this "early hour" the place was pretty sad, with only a few souls hanging around. Oh well, I can go back any time.
(Does someone know why they all walk around with hand luggages and what they carry?)

PS: J'ai aussi commencé un autre blog, Good Morning Japan. Il n'y a que des photos, certaines seront nouvelles et d'autres moins, vous en reconnaîtrez certainement. Cela m'aide a faire un peu le tri dans mes photos, et surtout maintenant avec le nouvel appareil, peut-être cela donnera-t-il lieu à un petit projet photographique, qui sait?

Bring back the butter!

H warned me. If you see butter at the supermarket, buy several blocks because they are going to stop selling it, he said. But of course I didn't believe him. Sounds like nonsense.
Imagine my surprise when, a couple of weeks later, all the butter was gone, leaving behind on the shelves only the pathetic, synthetic margarine. Margarine everywhere but not a single block of butter in sight.
How is this possible? Somebody tell me how on earth I am going to bake now?
So unlucky. The price of flour, milk, has already increased, and now there is no butter anymore. Bouhuhhhuuuuuu.....big despair. Please bring back the butter!

S'ils ne ramènent pas le beurre dans les supermarchés j'entame une grève de la pâtisserie (ben j'ai pas vraiment le choix).

Vintage

L'autre jour j'avais mis ce petit polo, et je me disais, mince, ça date ce truc, ça fait combien temps que je mets ça? En calculant (avec mes doigts) je suis arrivée au nombre de 19....ans.
Je l'ai tricoté moi-même (enfin, avec un peu d'aide, oui), c'était pour le mettre le jour de ma Confirmation. Et dire que maintenant je commence à avoir des cheveux blancs qui se pointent, hiiiii.
Et vous, c'est quoi le truc le plus vieux que vous avec dans votre armoire et que vous mettez encore? Je suis curieuse.
